Over the past couple of years we’ve been talking with FT Strategies, the consulting arm of the Financial Times, about establishing a partnership that leverages our collective expertise to support the cultural sector.

In 2009 the Financial Times had just over 100k digital subscribers. Now, they have a digital-first subscriptions model with over 1 million paid subscribers. FT Strategies takes the expertise that the Financial Times accrued through its digital transformation and makes it available through a consulting offer.

We recognised some parallels here with the strategic goals of many of our clients, particularly around driving digital and subscriber revenue, so felt there was an opportunity to explore with FT Strategies the idea of combining our expertise in these areas to deliver events and resources for our clients and the wider cultural sector.
